A fully-featured social networking bespoke site built by hand, from the ground up, before the days of Yammer, Slack and Teams.
The brief was to create a new intranet for the Product Development Directorate, following a recent and significant restructure. It enabled:
– Staff to see the new structure and teams.
– Staff to update their own details, eg photo, extension, email etc.
– Directors to “tweet” and for staff to see “tweets” regularly.
– Management to provide the Directorate with communication updates.
